New Work: Lost In Yesterday
This new painting was inspired a tiny little bit by Edward Hopper‘s paintings, and of course also influenced by our isolation situation. I so loved working on this painting, and hope the loneliness and emptiness that I envisioned is coming across.
Acrylic on canvas, 24x36” and 2.5” deep.
Available for sale with FREE nationwide shipping.
New Work: Holding On
If you love, you will suffer. The only way to protect yourself against suffering is to protect yourself against love - and that is the greatest suffering of all, loneliness (- Peter Kreeft).
“Holding On” is the title of this new painting in my "Broken Hearts" series.
Acrylics on canvas, 18x24”. Available here
New Collection: Lightforms
It’s been quite a while since I’ve been creative. But today I finished two new works.
I call this the start of a new collection, Lightforms.
The piece on the left is “Lightforms M2”, and the one on the right is “Lightforms C3”.
They are not listed yet, as I literally finished them both an hour ago. I’m considering turning them into an NFT, just because I am curious and want to learn how the crypto art market is actually working.
Keep your eyes peeled, I will update when I looked more into it.
New Work: I Will Rise
This new portrait is finished and you can see it in person during from June 5th till end of August at 88 Keys Cafe in Morgan Hill (together with 11 other of my paintings).
I imagined her as a fierce yet vulnerable survivor. I love her strong stance and powerful presence.
“I Will Rise” is painted with acrylics on extra deep canvas, 24”x36”x2.5".
New Series: Enchanted
The first signs of Fall 2020 colors arrived in my studio today! Yes, it's still summer, but with all the fires here in California, I do admit that I start looking forward to Fall with milder temperatures and hopefully the first rainfall.
My new "Enchanted" series in alcohol inks features a gorgeous color combination of graphite, deep magenta, blush pink, and sand.
Available separately or get all 4 pieces in this series as a bundle to create a showstopping gallery wall!
Available as archival pigment print or canvas print in either rolled (unmounted), stretched canvas or as printed canvas framed with a beautiful floater frame.

New Work: Daintree 1
Do you also have a color that is just "not you"? For me that is brown. I'm not even sure what it is about brown that I don't like, but I very very rarely use it.
This last week was an exception and I finished two alcohol ink pieces in wispy style that include brown (and distressed gold leaf accents).
Both pieces are available as art print and now also as canvas print.
All my canvas prints are available in three variations: rolled for DIY framing, stretched/gallery wrapped, and stretched and professionally installed in an elegant floater frame.
New Series - Broken Heart
“The shattering of a heart when being broken is the loudest quiet ever.” – Carroll Bryant
Everyone is working to adapt to a changing situation right now, and my art is no exception. Being away from my normal tools and material has forced me to get even more creative.
I’ve spent the last couple of months adapting my creative process to what has been available to me, and I have to say, I’m pretty excited about the results: the new series "Broken Heart".
Find out more about this series of expressionism portraits in non-traditional colors in my newest blog post.
New Series - Bliss
Vibrant abstracts, painted in many layers with intense watercolors on handmade watercolor paper (paper texture is visible in prints, adding to the hand painted character).
These abstracts are available as archival pigment print (giclee print), rolled canvas, stretched canvas and framed canvas, installed in a floater in your color of choice: silver, gold, black or white.
New: Royal Purple Watercolor
I'm still obsessed with my collection of minimalist watercolor prints.
Here is a series of 4 new watercolor prints with modern shapes in monochromatic purple.
Available as fine art print separately or as a set in many different sizes. Canvas prints on request.
New Color Trend: Tangerine & Gray
Summer’s glow is starting to fade. Say hello to the beauty and warmth of fall colors and textures.
For the perfect modern, autumn-inspired palette, look no farther than tangerine and grey.
3 new pieces “Tangerine and Gray”, available as prints separately or as set. Grunge style with visible brush strokes and visible paper texture.
Find them here.
New Collection: Joyful
