The Xmas market challenge – part 1

If you know me, than you also know that I am a notorious procrastinator. If I don’t have a deadline, I have a hard time to get it done.

So it’s good that I know the deadline for the Christmas market of my little girl’s preschool. 3rd of December! That’s the day that I need to have enough inventory for finished pieces to fill a small table. Did I say finished pieces? (yikes) Yes – that will be pendants, kid’s necklaces, bookmarks, key rings, canape knifes, big hole bead necklaces, earrings and maybe some bracelets. Mainly pieces in a lower price range – things that can be used as Christmas gifts and stocking fillers.

With only a little more than a month to go, I challenged myself this morning: from today on, every day I want to complete two pieces for the market! And to make sure, that it’s happening, every Sunday I’ll post pictures of my finished work here in my blog … nothing works better than a bit of pressure! 🙂

So here are my first two pieces, that I made today:

Check in with me next Sunday to find out what I’ve been up to and if I managed to stick with my plan 🙂

OK, gotta go now and finish my sales tax filing. It’s due today LOL, but thank goodness I’m nearly up to date with all the bookkeeping and just need to print the reports and file it online. Oh my, I sure wish there was a cure for procrastination! 🙂
